Here are some answers to any questions you may have about how to provide meter readings once you transfer to Shell Energy.

I have an ongoing switch or opening meter read dispute with Green Star Energy and my previous supplier, what will happen with this?

We will look to resolve all active change of supplier and meter read disputes before your account migrates to Shell Energy. If you'd like to raise a read dispute, contact Green Star Energy directly.

I am disputing the opening/closing date/read on my Green Star Energy account, how will this be resolved?

Should I take meter readings?

You won't have to send any meter readings before your account is transferred to Shell Energy.

Once you're transferred, Shell Energy will prompt you to send your gas and electricity meter readings to them each month, unless you have a smart meter, in which case they will receive them automatically. You can submit your meter readings online using Shell Energy's My Account. For more information, please click here.
