What are Green Star Energy Perks and points?
As our way of saying thanks, we offer customers on all of our tariffs Perks for just being with us. These Perks can be be redeemed once you’ve earned enough points to claim one that takes your fancy.
How do I earn points?
We’ve made earning points as simple as possible. As soon as you sign up to a Perks tariff with us we’ll automatically deposit points in your account. Then all you have to do is make sure you’re paying your bill on time, and we’ll award you points every three months just for being a loyal customer.
How do I check how many points I have?
Simply visit your Green Star Energy Perks account here. Once you’ve logged in, you can check to see how many points you’ve accrued so far. Don’t worry if you haven’t registered your Perks account yet, if you have one of our Perks tariffs, visit MyGreenStarEnergy.com/MyPerks to activate your Perks account and start earning your points!
Am I eligible for a Perks account?
If you are an existing Green Star Energy customer on our Rate Saver, Unlimited or Rate Watch tariffs but haven’t yet signed-up for Perks, please visit MyGreenStarEnergy.com/GetPerks to activate your account today.
How do I redeem my points?
Visit MyGreenStarEnergy.com/MyPerks to log in to your account. Once inside you will see our featured products section, or can use the menu to view all of your options by category. All you have to do is find a product that you want and make it yours!
Unfortunately Perks can only be claimed by active customers, so if you have recently left us you won’t be able to redeem your points.
What can I redeem my points for?
When it comes to our Perks we have two options for you to choose from. You can either redeem your points for energy efficient and smart products, which will save you money on your bill and help make a positive impact on the environment. What’s more, you get 50% off all energy efficient products – double the rewards! Or, alternatively, you can select one or more gift cards for popular shopping, dining and entertainment retailers including Sainsbury’s, iTunes, Argos and Boots. The choice is yours.
How much are my Perks points worth?
Green Star Energy Perks points are only redeemable for energy efficient products or gift cards have an equivalent value of 1p for each point. Green Star Energy Perks points are not legal tender, have no cash value, and are not redeemable for cash.
Can I still redeem Perks if I don’t have enough points?
When it comes to our smart products you have the option to combine both points and payment. As you go through the checkout process, the points will be deducted from your account and the rest of the payment due will be displayed in pounds. Pay the excess and the Perk is yours!
Unfortunately this redemption method is unavailable on our gift card rewards.
Do my points expire?
Your points are valid for two years from the date they’re issued. If you don’t manage to use your points in this time they’ll be lost, but we’ll still add more points to your account on a quarterly basis. Moving home or changing to another one of our tariffs will not affect the amount of points you have, however if you disconnect from us you will lose all of your points.
How do I receive my Perks?
We’ll ship them straight to you! We use UK Mail NBD to deliver our products via recorded delivery, and you can expect your product or vouchers to arrive within 14 working days. You can review tracking (if applicable) and shipping information at any time by logging in and reviewing your order history.
Do I have to pay for delivery?
No, for our gift cards and most of our products delivery is free of charge. There are, however, some oversized smart energy products that we do charge delivery on. This can be paid for using points or with your credit or debit card at checkout.
What if I want to return my order?
You may return any unopened items for any reason within 14 days of receiving your order. Simply contact our Perks team at 0800 029 1561 or email GreenStarEnergyPerks@EnergyEarth.com to start this process. Once your return has been processed, you should expect to receive your refund within 5-7 business days.
