Here are answers to some common questions about the Rate Watch price change.
Why are my rates changing?
We always do our best to secure the best rates for our customers.
However, in recent months we, along with other UK energy suppliers, have seen sharp price rises in the cost of wholesale energy which we have not been able to fully absorb.
By how much will the price increase?
Based on Ofgem’s medium consumption levels, for a dual fuel customer the price has increased by an average of 9.91%. Gas prices will increase by 13.83% and electricity prices by 6.31%. A dual fuel household with typical usage will see annual bills rise to £1,219/year
